Simplify: Tips for a minimal wallet
This post will be short since there’s only one way to simplify your wallet: Get a smaller wallet.
Here you have some samples:
- Eagle Creek Slim Wallet (my fav, it’s the one I use)
- Slim Slimmy
- Ultra Thin Card case
Once you have a smaller wallet, then:
Bring
- Your picture ID
- One credit or debit card
- Your health insurace card (if you need it)
- $60 in three $20 bills.
Leave out:
- Receipts, movie tickets, shopping lists, todo lists, random pieces of paper.
- Photos. You don’t need to convert your wallet into a photo album.
- The collection of reward cards from super markets, best buy, CVS, etc. I use my iPhone to take a picture and store them there, then I leave the cards out.
- More than one credit/debit card. Get rid of them, it’ll make you feel better and it’ll help you get rid of debt.
I’ve been doing this lately, except with this wallet from Fossil:
US currency makes it really easy to have a money clip rather than a folding wallet, and starting from scratch means I don’t have multiple credit cards that I feel obliged to carry.

At the time, this was super apt as my boyfriend was missing that tooth… FFFFOUND! | Us Always on the Behance Network
